30 Second Explanation
AxisRooms is a tool that seamlessly links inventory from the AccuBook Booking Engine to a host of Booking Engine Agents (growing daily) including Desiya, MakeMyTrip, Agoda, and European Booking Engines including RateToGo, Bookings.com etc
In short this means that by managing room availability and pricing in the Booking Engine, AxisRooms automatically and directly transfers it to other Booking Engines.
This of course drastically reduces the amount of time that Hotel Reservation Mangers have to spend managing Booking Engines. Our experience is that with this tool hotels are more confident about signing up with new Booking Engines because they have a tool that makes the management easier and more reliable.
In Detail
- When you update room pricing and availability on AxisRooms it updates the other channels we are linked to (at most within 17 minutes).
- You can if you wish ‘uplift’ the prices before ‘pushing’ the inventory into different booking engines.
- Any bookings come from the channel to the hotel in the normal manner ie by E Mail/Fax etc
To use the Channel Manager the hotel must already have a ‘contract’ with the Channel and an Extranet Login.
- If your rooms are sold out on a particular channel AxisRooms will ‘top up’ the inventory. Ie Whatever inventory is held in AxisRooms will also be made available on the other channels.
